I never thought I would say this but recently I have been very over twitter.
I find myself closing tweetdeck more often these days. Don’t get me wrong, I love the interaction and it’s not that I need to follow less/more people. For some reason I feel that a certain vibe has gone from twitter.
At the end of 2009 it felt as though twitter was buzzing, tonnes of interaction, sharing and opinion. Now it feels like it’s just sharing. We have all realized that twitter is just an information highway and it seems that the ‘honeymoon’ is over.
It’s like when everyone discovered Facebook, there were tonnes of wall posts, messages and pokes being sent around. These days not so much. That initial buzz has died down.
Hopefully I will refind the mojo again and continue to flood some of your streams with my useless information but for now Twitter will only get attention once or twice a day.
